No way! It's not that you can't, it's that you shouldn't! Save the hard work for formal! It's kind of a freshman/sophomore thing. Juniors and seniors rarely bother anymore because of the work involved.

If not don't properly, the paint chips off and the cooler looks like crap after the first use anyway.
