connections??pls help
by: OOSHow does a girl make connections with other actives/alumni? I'm from out of state and I have limited connections, I only have a few. How could I go about making some new ones and getting in touch with the girls in sororities and possibly becoming friends before rush time?

join the facebook olemiss20 groups and you will meet some actives that are helping girls out with those groups. Alumni are easy to find if your state has an ole miss alumni association or even an SEC alumni association. Get in touch with them and they can help.

Well now you can do what you can do while you're out of state.
You can also use the time before recruitment when you're on campus like at the previews to talk to sorority women or once you get to campus make friends with sorority women in classes and clubs you are in.
Honestly, whatever happens it'll all work out. Plenty of girls go in with barely any Ole Miss connections and end up happy in the end. Only for the top chapters do connections really matter so much and they have their bid lists finalized in the summer...soooo out of staters don't have much of a chance unless they're super duper impressive.
