where are you from? you can be out of state and still get bids to the top tier, you just have to have a lot of connections from both actives and alumni. the rankings are essentially how hard it is to get into that house
hardest: ddd, xo, kd, dg
mid: kappa, phi mu
easier: pi phi, aopi, adpi, theta, aphi

Every sorority will take girls from out of state if you get your recs and make the right connections. Different houses are easier depending on what state your from. I suggest you start getting your recs now and see who you can be connected to through friends and family and build upon that.
