rush

I've heard rush at ole miss is just about the hardest rush week in the south, and if you don't have strong connections with actives or alum specifically from ole miss than you won't get a bid. Is this true for sororities like dg, kappa, and phi mu?

Yes, but not as hard as XO, DDD ,and KD.

Honestly, there are two different recruitments going on at the same time. One for those girls with connections and one for those girls who do not have any connection.

1st group: Ddd, xo, kd, dg, phi mu, kappa. Girls will not get into these houses without connections. Sure, exceptions happen, but not often.

2nd group: pi phi, aopi, theta, adpi, aphi. You don't need connections for these houses, you just need a solid gpa and resume.

Each group recruits a different type girl.

Have no fear, without connections, the 2nd group is still filled with great girls who have an amazing Greek experience at ole miss.

Being a legacy for some of the first group houses won't hurt you either.
