serious question

by: Informed

Hey Pike, how's that apology letter coming along. Will you be delivering it before or after your chapter is kicked off campus?

I have been inundated with questions about Ole Miss' zero tolerance hazing policy but don't have a good answer.
An active member was arrested and charged with hazing pledges on the campus. His fraternity kicked him out of organization. But the school has not disciplined him or the fraternity. I understand there are legal issues that will go through court but this is a school policy. Is this being swept under the rug? Does this invite a civil suit against University?

Funny thing is I've been inundated with MAnY questions about why it was plastered all over the country that 5 pikes were arrested for assault when it NEVER happened. It was a made up LIE. Love this bait and switch $hit going on. How about admitting 5 pikes were never arrested for assault.

Ive also been inundated with questions about that LIE. I've also been asked how someone could be beaten within an inch of their life and recover so quickly. Believe me, the LIE about the assault is a really big deal. That's your civil suit brother.

you sound disappointed that he has recovered. They were arrested and charged and if convicted, especially of hazing, this will be a bad ending for pike.

Not disappointed just mad that uninformed people like yourself keep commenting when you don't know what you are talking about!

I do not understand your accusation of "bait and switch."
My main issue is around an active being arrested for hazing pledges, which is in clear violation of Ole Miss' ZERO tolerance hazing policy, and the lack of any university sanction against the member or the organization.
I am asking a real question that many want the answer to.

You said that your main issue was .... My question is why do you have an issue with any of this? It seems that you are inserting yourself into a situation which doesn't involve you and you don't have all of the facts. You are just trying to stir the pot!

My friend from another college told me to look at this thread and see what Ole Miss calls hazing! LOL. Stealing a plastic donkey is hazing?? LMAO.

That is what the Pike active was charged with and our school supposedly has a zero tolerance policy toward hazing. Zero means no way to get out of it.

Being charged with something and being guilty of something are two different things! That is the truth!

where are you getting that he got away with it? He was arrested. What the hell do you want? Let's take him to the grove and flog him like they do in the Middle East. Good grief. You must really be jealous of pike to spend this much energy on stealing a plastic donkey.

Honestly, who should they be apologizing to? If fraternities had to apologize every time that two members got into a fight, there would be constant apologizing. Now get off your high horse and stop the nonsense!

Hazing aside someone was sent to a hospital, and it wasn't a smiling Pike.

it wasn't the smiling pike. The other 4 were smiling. Probably because they couldn't believe they were being booked for stealing a plastic donkey.
