So many sororities to choose from and our Panhellenic chose the wrong one!

I think APhi has been aggressively expanding and is going about it in the wrong way. They are going on campuses selecting girls on looks alone and a pattern across campuses has been established.

Ok, this is just based on what I've personally seen/heard (I can't go based on rumors), but I can tell you that last week everyone was SO excited that Alpha Phi was coming to campus because we felt so bad for all the girls who truly deserved a bid, but there simply wasn't enough room. It wasn't until after bid day that APhi got the bad rep. It started from a lot of vengeful girls who were mad they got cut (not saying this applies to everyone going APhi!) and they started putting down all the houses saying APhi was better than all of them, and posted horrible things about the other houses. Then it got a whole lot worse after APhi's first cut round because a big portion of the "pretty girls" that didn't get cut used that as a reason to put everyone down (because they were "better because they were prettier" sort of thing). I'm an ADPi and we've also been getting a ton of hate. So has Theta. But it's important not to take an anonymous site personally. Every sorority is amazing. What should matter is your sisterhood and how you respond to bad situations. ADPi didn't get hate because we were just happy to be here, we weren't trying to put other houses down saying we were "better" and "prettier". We're not perfect or better than any house. All we care about is finding amazing girls we want to call our sisters. That's all that should matter.

ADP is low key. APhi isn't...that's why some react badly to them....they are brash. They may not be "southern" like ADPi, but they are strong where ever they go. Notice their colonizations this and next year are at major universities, not regional schools....so they target big name schools. Plus, they are very well represented on the East and West Coasts. Texas, TTech and Bama APhis are gorgeous and smart, so they do the "southern" thing well.
