snap bid
by: WonderingHave snap bids been given out. A friend of mine got cut from all but one sorority so she dropped out of recruitment hoping for a snap bid.

Snap bids are given out the morning of bid day BEFORE bid day begins so that the girl can attend bid day.
Your "friend" should look into Alpha Phi which might be her only chance to go Greek at this point. Spring informal recruitment tends to be really small and invite-only and not publicized.
This "friend" of yours might have shot herself in the foot by dropping out. Why anyone would drop with a house left...I have no idea. All the sororities here have all sorts of girls and are great. This year quota was 142...if she says she couldn't find friends in a pledge class of 142 and a sorority that's even bigger than that then she is lying. Plain and simple your "friend" was being a snob. And she didn't get a snap bid. Now she has to put her big girl pants on and deal with the consequences.

Theta made nowhere near quota at 120 bids (vs quota at 142) so they most likely did give out snap bids
I'm not a theta so I don't know for sure, but in that situation generally snap bids are offered and it seems like girls didn't take them
if your "friend" didn't want theta then she is an elitist. no wonder no one wanted her...not even theta at snap bid time

Bish please. Any normal girl would drop out if she only had Theta left. Keep it real.
