favorite house

So many girls are saying I'm crazy for loving ADPi and that it's only for people who got cut from everything else, but I just felt so at home there. Is it bad to want to go to a house that's considered "bottom tier" and how would it affect me socially?

and stop listening to tent talk. If you like them and it feels like home, go for it. If it bothers you that others are saying you're crazy or whatever, then don't discuss it with them. Only you know what's in your heart.

I think there's truth to girls going ADPi when they are cut from everywhere else.

But from what you said that's your crowd...and that's ok. You sound way less shallow and more sisterly than other girls.

This is why it is so important to follow your heart during rush. It's really easy to get caught up in the talk and what your friends are saying. But if there's a house that feels right, that you love, go with that house - You are a member of that house for 4 years, and then a member of the sorority for life. If you are lucky enough to go through rush and find a house that you love, that's really great. ADPi is a great house. If you love them, go for it!
