favorite house

So many girls are saying I'm crazy for loving ADPi and that it's only for people who got cut from everything else, but I just felt so at home there. Is it bad to want to go to a house that's considered "bottom tier" and how would it affect me socially?

Why do "bottom tier" ADPi's look prettier than "top tier" Tri Delts? Ole Miss has such a different Greek life than most

There are two rules every PNM needs to follow during recruitment.

1) Trust yourself. No one knows you better than yourself and therefore no one knows what you're looking for in a house better than you do. No one else has the same outlook and opinions as you and therefore you should always, always, always trust yourself and your opinion and your gut first and foremost. Rank your houses that way because if you put too much stock into what other people are saying you might end up making decisions that are not true to who you are and regret making them later. Always trust yourself and your gut to know what's best for you.

2) If #1 doesn't work out, trust the process. If you end up getting cut from your favorite house, trust that the process works, that you ended up in the house that wanted you and whose sisters are excited to share with you their bonds of sisterhood as well as their social and philanthropic activities.

If you do those two things, you will end up happy. All the houses at Ole Miss are great, but you are you so go with your gut. Don't listen to what other people are doing. You do you.

The heart doesn't know tiers!! Tiers are not important!

If you are in love with ADPi then go for it!! Who cares what other people think? You have to go with your gut on this one. If you feel at home and love the sisters that you have talked to then who cares if they're lower tier?

I joined pi phi at MSU and they were also a new chapter with a new house. I had the best experience and was so Incredibly happy there. It's the sisterhood NOT the tier that you are joining.

Adpi is nationally recognized and is a great orginazation to be a part of. Go where YOU Feel happy and I promise you will never regret it.

I had a top house on pref and went pi phi and I'm glad because I know that if I hadn't I would always look down sorority row and wish I had chosen pi phi.

Good luck!

Adpi s are a great group of girls! Never ever trust what you read here on this website!

Half the responders give great advice, but the other half are evil vile women with nothing better to do than to put sororities down.

Adpi got off to a great start when they colonized! That upset a lot of the existing chapters. The criticism here are just a lot of insecure women afraid of adpi!

had one top tier that I was a legacy at and one lower tier last year for pref... I honestly LOVED both of them, but at the end of the day felt "more at home" at the so called lower tier one... thats the one I ranked first and could not be happier! trust your heart!!!
