why no interest in a phi?

Alpha Phi has had very, very few chapters in the South in the past. It's hard to maintain chapters when there are no alumnae to act as advisers.
In the last several years, they have striven to expand, but especially in the South, where a "small" chapter is 150 women. Can you blame them for wanting to crack the biggest, most exclusive Greek system in the South - Ole Miss?

@alumna.....Ole Miss the most exclusive greek system?? Puhleeeeze. That would be Texas. Try rushing over there and see what happens, with all those 4.0 top students who all placed out of 20 hours AT TEXAS, and have heavy resumes; They got into Texas, after all, with it's 39% acceptance rate. Ole Miss gets Texas academic rejects...so, no, Ole Miss greek life is not 'exclusive'.

a Kappa, Alpha Phi, Zeta, DG and they work for greek rank. They always post great things about those sororities but not so much about others. As long as greek rank exists this site will be toxic. They are Texas OOS and I don't think they have much respect for the way the SEC sorority system works. I also think (this is not to be rude to any sorority) that because Kappa is good some places same with DG and Zeta but not really really strong in the south (like phi mu, KD, tri detla, OX) they resent not being top tier (kappa is in texas at UT but zeta and DG and alpha phi aren't- so not sure what gives there). They make money on the number of times you click a thumbs up or thumbs down also - so its in their best interest to keep the controversy/drama going. But in truth they have sororities they do not like- never have - like phi mu, KD, tri detla, OX- - but there you have it- they just don't like ole miss and they don't like the southern way of rush/sororities. hope this helps.

also the more "likes/thumbs up or down- its a system trick- I have done it several times- it does not mean that 247 people did or did not like your opinion - the people/sorority girls who work for greek rank do it all the time- Zeta is the worst for doing that.

just STOP IT PEOPLE! HOW ARE YOU HATING ON SORORITY THAT HASN'T EVEN STARTED YET! ALL SORORITIES ARE DIFFERENT AT EVERY SCHOOL! Chi O is good here, but not so good at other schools. The list goes on and on. Give these girls a chance!! Y'all are making greek life at Ole Miss look so bad. Girls are going to be scared to colonize with Alpha Phi now because they are already getting a bad rep!

repeating here: "Alpha Phine" is a Troll who is trying to bait you into responding. I doubt that person is associated with Alpha Phi in any way but is trying to damage their rep by stirring the pot. Think about it, insulting the host university and students is hardly the way to endear yourself to a new campus. I doubt the national organzation would spend type of time, energy and money required to come to a campus like Ole Miss if they actually thought those things. "Alpha Phine" is writing anything that might provoke a reaction and you're doing exactly what they want, which will only cause them to post more. Ignore the trolls and imposters.

They had ADPi back in the day but they closed due to low numbers. Now they're back.
