I am just placing fraternities in their correct tiers and not ranking them within the tiers. That order is debatable based on preference, but those included in each tier is not.
TOP: KA, EN, EX, PDT
Upper Middle: ATO, SAE, Phi Psi, Kappa Sig, Pike
----------- huge gap in popularity--------------
Lower Middle: Phi Tau, Beta, Sigma Pi
Bottom: Delta Psi, Pi Kapp, Chi Psi
fraternities on the rise: Sigma Chi, Phi Psi, Phi Tau, Kappa Sig
fraternities on decline: KA, SAE, Pike, ATO, EN
for the most part, the gap between the upper middle and top tier is becoming smaller but the gap between the lower middle and upper middle is widening. Hope this helps those who are rushing!

I think this list is okay but when you say the gap between upper middle and lower middle is widening, I don't think that's true. Beta, sigma pi, and phi tau have all done great things and have improved drastically. I've been to these houses since I was a freshman and year by year they have gotten so much better! I'm not saying the gap is closing but it isn't widening as much as you think.

so you're a KA, right? You were there. You know what goes on in the house and bid sessions. Oh right, a member would be on here tearing his own house down. 😏 A house with leaders all over campus is declining...makes sense to me.
