going out
by: Active
Hey freshman. You can absolutely go out tonight. More than likely, nothing you do tonight can hurt or help your rush.. With the exception of getting arrested or sleeping with the boyfriend of the rush team president. If we have already cut you, there's nothing you can do to change that. Staying in won't keep you from getting cut. If we want you, all you have to do is have fun tonight and have a great rush. Going out and having fun isn't going to keep you from getting a bid to a house.
I don't recommend going out after the game on Saturday though. Just because Greek Day is so long and exhausting. You'll want to be well-rested and prepared. I'm an active and I likely won't even go out Saturday night.
This is your last weekend to be "just a freshman." By next Sunday, you'll be in a sorority and you'll be meeting dozens of new girls and some of them will become your best friends. Life will be a little different. You'll be busier and you'll hang out with the girls in your sorority more than the girls on your floor. Enjoy this weekend with your floor friends.

So I'll be staying in tonight to get ahead on next week because I hear there won't be a lot of time next week for studying. I think most actives are doing the same. At least that's what my gamma chi told us.
Tomorrow I will be in the grove. No sense missing the rebels play because I'm afraid to have a little fun.
Saturday night, I will be exhausted from partying in the grove all day and plan on heading to bed early so I don't have puffy face (lol) for the first day of rush.
See! How easy was that!
