I am both a legacy to Chi Omega and Tri Delt but I'm from Ohio. I get that these two don't always take out of state girls but since I'm a legacy does that change anything?

Are you a chapter legacy, or did your family attend school somewhere else?

This is an important distinction!

Chapter legacies are given special consideration. Non-chapter legacies are treated just like any other pnm.

Even chapter legacies don't get special consideration if their parent or sister isn't still in touch with the chapter.

Choose a house for you, not based on your legacy status. All of the groups at OM are great, so give all of them a chance to improve your odds of being invited to join one.

you just gave way too much info about yourself. Anyone could easily look up and see who you are based on this post. Don't give this much information out!

Yes, it will be easy for us to figure out who the legacy is from Ohio if we are a tri delt or a xo. But unless you are in the legacy slide show, they won't even have a clue who you are.

Rush teams might, but I doubt they will hold it against you for asking a question here.

Even actives in other sororities will unlikely see your resume. All 2000 of those are typically only seen by alumni or rush teams.

I'm an active and I haven't seen one resume. All I've seen are the girls in our slide show.
