DDD/XO. Filled with the best mississippi and oos girls. Connections and alumni support are absolutely necessary. Legacies have a hard time fitting in.
KD/DG. Filled with uber competitive girls who strive for perfection. Connections are important. Non competitive girls stick out like sore thumbs.
Phi Mu/kappa. Filled with great girls who simply lacked connection to other top houses. Phi Mu are girl next door types while kappa is a mix. When kappa upped their gpa, they started taking in a lot of nerds. Might affect this years pledge class.
Pi phi. Lots and lots of Texas girls and girls from the north. Fun, but a little wild. Boys love these girls.
AOPi. Northern girls. Stuck up girls and mean girls. You don't need any connections to get in. When bottom girls attack this post, they will be AOPis.
Theta/Adpi. Total mix of every type of girl imaginable. These are mostly girls who don't conform to the normal sorority type. We all have friends in these houses and love them.
Alpha f-ing phi. Go away! We don't want you on campus.

I like this. It's pretty accurate except for AOPi who, while yes, just like every other house has some mean girls, is filled with wonderful girls just like the other 9 soon to be 10 sororities on campus are.
And with the Alpha Phi comment...why don't you wait to judge them when you see what kind of girls are actually in this chapter?
But other than those 2 this is accurate.

Could be, but idk if a Chi O mom would say that legacies have a hard time fitting in considering the fact that she probably has a daughter who is/she wants to be a Chi O here

Why would you want to be a DDD or a Chi O then? Alumni got you in? Ewwwww. That means the girls who will be your sisters don't have to like you. Just alumni?awkwRd on bid day!
I would have yo then put the order this way:
KD
DG
Phi Mu
At least these groups choose girls that "fit" not just those with a connection. That's dumb.

News flash. You absolutely need alumni connections for KD and DG. The only difference is that these two sororities occasionally say no to their alumni. Doesn't get them the girls they want, just eliminates the girls they don't. Phi Mu and kappa are the only top six sororities where you don't need alumni support.

As a kd active, I have no idea why you alumni are still so involved! Like, why are you even on this website? Please don't try to say that you don't have any say so during rush when our number one complaint is you ladies not letting us control our lists.

Most if not all sororities will drop you if you don't have a Rec but not all sororities' bid lists are made by alumni. Some of us actually have a say in the girls we want to be sisters with.

I didn't have any sort of rec for phi mu, just met a few of them before recruitment started and was invited back through pref. I ended up choosing a different house, but I applaud phi mu for keeping an open mind about their bid list

If it means getting a bid to a sorority, I don't care who picks me!
Tbh it doesn't appear that any of the top houses have girls who hate it! They all seem happy and eager to be with their sisters.

I have friends in top tier houses who called alumni on my behalf and asked them to write my Recs. these alumni were happy to do so, because they knew the actives wanted me.
The alumni don't just choose their favorites, they also help the actives get their favorites into the house as well.

I've heard the same thing about aopi. The sophomores complain about the juniors and seniors being bossy. Pnm complain because they feel that the aopi's stare at them in bars and look down their noses.
I honestly don't have one friend in aopi so I really wouldn't know anything except the rumors I hear.
I did know an aopi who has graduated. We didn't like each other in high school and was glad not to get a bid from them, but like I said, she is gone now.

I love this ranking and agree on all accounts.
Also, there are 1900 pnms coming through. No way to you girls get a say so in the order of the lists. You vote yes or no! It is the rush teams and the alumni advisors who order the lists! I don't care what house you are in!
For example, of the 1900 girls you might vote yes on 500 girls, but you can only bid the top 160 or so. Who do you think orders your lists? It's not random!
Think about it. Alumni play a huge role in every sorority!

In my sorority we THE ACTIVES order the list. Can't say anything else about the process because it's secret.
Not every sorority has the alums choosing who gets in.
