anything like dance parties/glitter here?
by: worriedi am a pnm from texas, and so I'm pretty familiar with the things that go on at rush at ut austin. for example, pi phi has a dance party during the first round because they already have their invite list finished and they dance and chant so they won't have to talk to people they don't want. it makes a lot of pnms feel uncomfortable because they know they're not wanted. chi o puts glitter on pnms they want during pref so other houses see that and know chi o wants them. theta gives piggyback rides out of the house to girls they want. i know rush is very intense and competitive here much like at ut, and i was just wondering if anything like that goes on here. thanks and hotty toddy!

phew! that makes me so relieved! it's so mean and hurts so many feelings and for no reason! glad to know i picked a school where ladies actually know how to treat one another

So funny! Like you think the girls are better at ole miss because we string girls along and make them feel like they are getting a bid, only to cut them before the next round!
At least at UT a girl knows where she stands. So what if a group of girls doesn't piggy back you or throw glitter on you! You don't want to be friends with them anyway! At least they let you know early enough to focus on other houses!
