Would a girl ever not receive a bid for the only reason being that she is a sophomore

Sororities only take a few sophomores each year. They will only take the "best" sophomores. The ones who are chapter legacies or who have tons of connections and have great resumes.

Especially because alpha phi is colonizing, they will need those sophomores. There is no pressure for the existing sororities to extend them a bid.

Two years ago most sophomores dropped out of rush before it even started and went right for adpi rather than be humiliated during rush. Sad they didn't even try.

Nobody said don't try! Just keep an open mind. Don't go in wanting only one or two sororities.
