spring rush

My friend and I both are looking into transferring from two other SEC schools. We will still be a freshmen and we are planning on rushing. I wanted to know how spring recruitment is and how the whole process works - will I need recs, how much more laidback it is, ect.

I also wanted to know how hard it is to get into a PHC sorority if you are mixed? I am white but my best friend is mixed and I am worried for her - you know, with all of the stuff in the news today about southern sororities. She really is an amazing person; so pretty, outgoing and smart, so I know if they go off of her resume she would get into any sorority she wants. However, I wanted to know her chances of getting in realistically. Not just into a top tier but into any house.
