expansion
by: new sororitiesOver the next decade or so, we really need to see a lot more sororities come to campus to get our pledge class numbers lower and more manageable. It would be beneficial for everybody! We really need at least 5 more. For fun, which sororities would y'all like to see come to campus?

I think we should possibly bring back Zeta, Delta Zeta, and Alpha Xi Delta first and foremost. But with how ZTA struggled when they were on campus, and with how they've sort of struggled at MSU, idk if they would do well or not. But with the right alumni support and campus support, I think they could do well just like ADPi is right now even though they struggled a bit when they were here last.
I also think we could definitely bring Alpha Chi Omega and Alpha Gamma Delta. AGD is really strong in the state of Alabama. Other than those 5, I think some other options would be Gamma Phi Beta or Sigma Kappa. All of the other NPCs that we don't already have and that I didn't list usually do better at smaller schools and probably wouldn't do as well at a big SEC school.

zeta alums are still very involved at ole miss (ex: care walk. hello.) and they wanted to come back when we reopened expansion in 2012. I think they'll be the next to come back. they're great in Alabama, and they have PLENTY of alum support. after that I think it'll be AXO. with a new chapter at southern miss, I think they would like to expand more in Mississippi. plus they are top at bama and auburn, which would make a huge difference. then we need delta zeta. mid tier around the SEC but still established.

Delta Zeta and Alpha Chi are solid middle in the SEC - they are middle at most of the schools they are at, and they are top at 1 or 2 and bottom at 1 or 2.
Alpha Gam, on the other hand, is only at 5 of the 14 SEC schools, and they are only top at Auburn and Alabama. They are bottom at Kentucky, Georgia, and South Carolina.
I agree that we need to bring these 3 to campus sometime in the near future, but none of the 3 are top at almost every SEC school. The sororities that are top at almost every SEC school would be Chi O and Tri Delt with KD close behind. These are all at all 14 SEC schools and they are top at the majority of them.

The problem with Ole Miss and LSU is that a lot of the current sorority alums come on this site and bash those who've struggled. It makes for a very unwelcoming environment... Do you think a npc group wants to invest $$$$ on the 3 mil+ it will cost to build a house if they re just targets of the online bullies who post here, and this influence PNMs? Nope, only a few will. Be nice, or the Npc groups will avoid ole miss.

are already avoiding MSU because of how unwelcoming their Panhellenic system is. It is to my understanding that Kappa was supposed to be colonizing last year, this year, or next year or something like that, and they aren't anymore. And AOII was planning to colonize a decade or so ago and either were only on campus a few months are decided not to go through with it at last minute.
