private high school
by: worriedWhich sororities are likely to cut you if you did not go to a private high school?

It's not that you didn't go to a private high school, it's because so many of the actives did and they are more likely to pick girls they went to school with.
Over half my pledge class went to a private school and I'm middle tier. I can only guess at top tier but I think it would be more.

on where you are from. If you're from Hattiesburg, it's fine to be from Oak Grove, but PCS is good too. If you're form Jackson and didn't go private it's kinda a big deal. Madison and Brandon are different, you can be from those public schools. Tupelo and Oxford high are fine. But if you're from the Delta, you probably should have gone private. What school got heavy cuts at MSU?

Oxford HS is actually number 11.
And I totally agree that the Podunk girls who come from the delta region of Mississippi are poorly educated. Many have crooked teeth, bad breath, and have no clue how to dress. They are usually the girls on social probation because they can't make their grades. They might come to ole miss with a 4.0, but they can't hang academically with all the private school girls.
I think the Greek system is starting to see this and it is one of the biggest reasons why sororities are over 50% oos. It's too bad that so many chapter alumni live in the delta region and support these girls.
