gpa
by: rebel2019So I know that online it says you need to have at least a 3.0 to be safe from being cut. But each house has a more specific, usually higher, GPA that they cut at. I have a 3.2 would I be safe for most houses or is there a good chance I'll be cut?

You should be able to get a bid, but you better have some connections, a good resume, and a good personality. There's a lot of girls going through rush and we don't know their GPAs. Most likely, you're around the middle or below it. I know that sounds really discouraging but if girls love you enough they will invite you back.
There's about 1800-1900 girls going through rush this year. After the first round is over, you're on a long list by GPA. First we cut the grade risks (girls under our minimum), then Panhellenic tells us either "your list is too long, cut 200 more girls" or "your list seems too short, don't cut the last 20" or so on. We really won't know until the end of Greek Day.
If you have connections, you're good. If you were involved and have good recs and letters of support sent (not all houses use them, but they're needed for some), then you're good. Most important- if you are likable, you are good! We want girls with high GPAs, but we have to like you first.

It depends on so many factors!
Private HS vs Public HS
Legacy vs non-legacy
Connections vs no connections
Pretty vs not so pretty.
Etc
There is no way to tell you what your odds are without us knowing much more! Too much for you to post on here! Don't even try.
