The alumni don't chose the 170 girls we will be extending bids to. But they do have a lot of say. The rush team also creates a list of members to give to the alumni. If you aren't on this list, sucks. Active members still vote on the pnms they want. If you don't meet any actives, there will be no one in house to fight for you or say they want you

If we have favorites PNM's we put their name on a list that we give to the alumni. If they don't know who the girl is, they will ask us about her.
Next week we will see the alumni list that they have put together over the summer. If our favorites are not on that list we will either have to talk to our advisors about her and hope for the best, and/or introduce our favorites to as many actives as we can and hope one of our friends latches on and fights for her as well.

Actives bring our favorite girls to the alumni's attention. Without us actives letting the alumni know about you, you won't stand a chance. That's why connections are important. The more girls who will stand up for you when your name is called the more the advisors will know we want you. They do pay attention to what we want. They just work to make sure we aren't voting on our best friend, the town drunk or hoe.
