worth it?

I've love every minute of the last two years and I can't wait to begin the next two!

A college degree is a college degree! The Ivy League degrees may hold more weight in a job interview, but beyond that, an ole miss degree is as good as the next.

At ole miss you will learn way more than academics. You will learn diversity & social skills, you will meet people from all over the country, and have a strong alumni association to go home to.

I understand that it's a lot of money and the fact that it's Mississippi doesn't sound so prestigious, but this is an amazing school!!
It's cliche, but there is a family feel here. Professors care (not all, but you can't be perfect), people are nice, and you cannot put a price on good memories. You will meet so many people and it's easy to fit in here. Ole Miss prepares you so well for the outside world. Many of my sorority sisters got jobs right out of school!

Here's a secret ;): There's a lot of SEC fans, especially Ole Miss. My brother's employer is a huge Ole Miss fan, he got a job easy. My sorority sister's boss was an alum, she got a job. Sure a Ivy League would give you more leverage, but Ole Miss fans are everywhere and Rebels stick together (my boss for the summer told me this...an Ole Miss fan). Nothing guarantees you a job, but this place is an amazing school and it has benefitted so many of my sisters and my family members.

I can still go to my back up school and my parents don't want me to go because it is so far and such a hassle getting to and from and so expensive to fly to memphis.
I really want to go to this school and I want to STAY down south after graduation.
I just feel like it is easier to move down south for school, on a college campus, where it is easier to make friends and be around people?

Would you say it is easy to make friends at Ole Miss?

and my parents think my in state school has a stronger program than Ole Miss :(
I really didn't like any of the in-state schools. I just loved how I felt at Ole Miss and I can't get that feeling anywhere else
