What does it mean when the same sorority friend requests you within the same time span

It probably means they were talking about you in their group me and someone said that you looked like a good potential new member and they asked their sisters to go add/follow you. It's a good thing!

It could go either way.
One girl could have mentioned you and said that you seem pretty cool. Her sisters start to follow you and they start to talk about you. Not bad things. Maybe "OMG look at her hair, it's perfect." or "Wow she went to Italy this summer cool! Rush convo!"
BUT. I can say this (because I am doing this myself), some girls hear bad things about PNMs and decide to follow them on social media out of curiosity.

If I don't really travel to cool places or I didn't do much of anything this summer just really hung out with friends are they really gonna care that much?

Why would a bunch of the same sorority friend request you just to check you out if you've been talked about badly? Like wouldn't that be giving the girl false hope that they want when she's probably been black listed or they don't want he at all? sorority girls haven't been following me on social media but I would honestly stick with that than be given false hope

It means someone told them about you. Either you know someone in the house or they liked your resume.

It could also mean that you got someone good to write your rec. possibly someone who may have recently graduated or holds a lot of status. Same happened to me on Facebook and on Instagram. I figured it was just so they could look at my pictures. But don't do something crazy and message them like your bffs now
