Explanation- YeS it can happen. See, PNM's rank houses, they don't drop houses. So if the girl in post #17 attended every party on card and then ranked them from favorite to least favorite, and a few cut her, then Pi Phi would pop up on her card for next round. She then would attend remaining parties on her card next day, and if Pi Phi was still on card, she would have to attend. She would then rank the houses she attended that day from favorite to least favorite. If a few more cut her and even if Pi Phi was still ranked last, but they asked her back, Pi phi would pop up again the next day on her card. This can happen all the way to Pref. And she could effectively have pledged Pi Phi at the end. She would also have gotten to know them more each time and she apparently loves her house now. So good for her for sticking it out and glad she found her home!
