DG has just sunk millions into reestablishing a chapter at U of A that closed like 30 yrs ago. But, the house they're building is right alongside new houses for 2 other groups on campus who are VERY strong...so in a couple of years, it won't be like just one group is "new" becasue there will be several "new" houses.

The "old row" - "new row" thing at Ole Miss has got to change if a new group is going to flourish. A paradigm shift is in order...and if a national group can come in a sink MILLIONS into a FINE house, then that would force other groups to "up the ante" and maybe change the culture at UM.

At Ole Miss, a dolla makes 'em holla, Honey Boo Boo! Throw them that money, and watch how quickly another sorority gains favor.

YOUR MANNERS? New chapters want to come to your campus, and you have gone out of your way to critical. So much for southern manners, or class.

There are some very nice people at Ole Miss, and I call many of them Sister, bu they are in all Chapters. Our problem comes from pledging people who have lots of money but not a lot of class or heart. They were unfortunately raised to know any better, and well "Bless their tiny little hearts!"

Seriously, "hateful, catty" seems like a good way to put it.

money can't buy class. To say "poor" people have no class is hateful and rude. There are a lot of "poor" people who are way "richer" than you will ever be.

@Woah, I was not suggesting the women were low on cash, just low on manners due to their lack of an appropriate upbringing. There are plenty of top tier legacies that are pledged that don't have money, but they HAVE been raised properly.

I was feeling sorry for the poorly raised, catty, mean girls. Bless their tiny little hearts!

Just quit while you're ahead and stop acting like you're better than everyone else. You are the one we should feel sorry for.
