I am here to tell you that there are PLENTY of Mississippi gals that are "class" acts ha. There are some right here in my hometown in my own sorority!! Really embarrassing. I think ALL sororities should enforce the same rules that my mother had when she was at Ole Miss in the eighties.

Alumni are important but they need to get a better handle on the drunk girls in sororities. Falling down drunk at frat parties is never pretty.

Sounds like a membership review is necessary for the chapters with those drunk ass girls. Someone needs to call headquarters and report them before they ruin the whole chapter. Just takes one bad apple to ruin the while bunch as the taint spreads from member to member.

Not enough sororities or not enough exclusivity. I see my daughter's composite with 250 + members. Crazy. This makes rush crazy and impossible to REALLY screen out the bad apples (legacy or not). So, there are plenty of drunk, rude girls and yes, Mississippi produces their share, like it or not. Cut the size and raise the price. Nobody promised every little girl could go to dancing school or be in a sorority. HOWEVER, as with every generation before, there will still be a fair share of high-dollar, well-bred boozers and men chasers. They've been trained at the country club.
