"you are no better than anyone...because you went greek. You're all for bigotry, just with half the junk. That system is for the south, by the south, of the south. Think about it -- the height of your adolescent intellect...and you still think anyone who's not white and rich is a freak. You don't? Then what did you go greek for? Tons of intelligent and tolerant people all around you just waiting to open your mind wherever you're from. You went greek just like these kids. And they only have the reputation of bigotry. At your school they say "yeah, anyone's welcome, just as long as you abandon who you are". That's a form of racism that cuts ALL people. At least racism only targets specific minorities. "

Now way the founders of the 1800's would accept these sorostitutes as new members. They are to busy trying outdo the frats and play bully to the other chapters on campus. You make fun of your alums behind there backs, but you wouldn't be here without all the women that came before you. And that's regardless of how lame you might think they are.
#598by: @so glad you are
Thank you to last two commenters. Very, very good point. Exactly what I was trying to get across. Sororities' lifeline are their alumnus and without them, you could forget it. They do not have to pick your members but they certainly help with your FUNDING HELLO!!

Here's how it works: You invite people to your home. They just don't show up for parties - they're invited. So, we invite PNMs to our chapters. They "accept" or "decline" based on their rankings of us. After all, a bid is an invitation to join. We invite; they accept or decline. It is mutual - the chapters having the parties...so we get to say who's invited. Your grades will have a lot to do with as well as your reputation, your activities, and your ability to have a conversation.
