I think that's a little rude and ignorant to say actually. I'm a current Kappa Delta at Ole Miss, my mother was a XO here and I had a cousin who was a DG. I love all three of these groups because of personal or family ties, and although I love my home with KD, after the legacy to other top houses and meeting girls in them I know I could have been happy with XO or DG also. It makes me so sad to see girls saying that XO is living on an old reputation or that DG has never been a top house because both are so outstanding, as is all greek like here! There is a top 4, and anyone could argue for any of those houses to be a top 2, but it is all personal because all 4 are truly amazing! Even the bottom here is great compared to other schools because our system is so strong! Anyone saying bad things about XO or DG is just trying to bring down a great group to boost their own. Every Ole Miss family knows KD, XO, DG, and DDD have the most tradition at this school and have been great for decades.

I am glad you have established that you are a part of a 'top four' therefore establishing that you are better than everyone else. Congrats and may you continue your life of superiority!

you might be surprised to learn that 2 of your top 4 Ole Miss sororities may be tops there but are not tops at schools not that far from you. in fact, one of them has closed 2 of its chapters recently.

It is girls like you, and in your sorority who give Ole Miss a bad Greek name. Every house here has incredible tradition & legacies. News flash, XO, DDD, KD & DG are not your "top 4" at all. Want proof? Look at the numbers. Some didnt even make quota. PNMs don't want to be associated with girls who only care about money & status, in which these houses care about.

Phi Mu and AOII are my favorite houses. Not saying I don't love yall in the other houses. Personally these girls just never fail to put a smile on my face or do/say something really sweet! All Ole Miss sororities are fabulous!

are tiers for a reason. There is no way one sorority can be above all others. Each has negative and positive qualities. That being said-

top- ddd, dg, kkg (these are the most wanted and hard to get into)
mid- xo, kd, aopi (random but have a solid reputation)
and lastly, NOT bottom, all sororities at ole miss are great, but these are either on the rise or have recently fallen behind- phi mu, pi phi, theta

Totally agree!! Wow that was the best most modern description. Also I agree there is none better than others just different tiers :)

Nothing bad about ANY of them so please everyone needs to realize ole miss greek life is BEST not because we hae a FEW certain difficult sororities to get into but rather that ALL our sororities are involved,classy,beautiful, smart and have deep tradition! The 'tiers' may change from year to year but all NINE sororities will remain the best chapters in the country and should not compete with one another. And to next years PNMS please do not take all these rankings to heart. They literally change annually. All you need to know is if you are given a bid to any then you are in a top greek system of America! God bless, love yall!
