sorority comments

I don't understand how you can encourage girls to rush. Tell them GPA of 2.5 or better then after the 2nd round change the rules to a higher GPA and cut these girls. I think it gives sororities a bad name. If you knew you had to many girls to begin with you should have made the requirements harder to begin with. I saw a lot of tears from girls that didn't deserve to be hurt.

@concerned mom---what were you doing there...it is time for baby to walk alone. My daughter has been stressed all week and called constantly. I told her to relax and enjoy and all would be as it should be. Rush is not the be all end all of life. She came through fine and will be stronger for her next test because she handled the stress of rush.

Wasn't my daughter. I just saw the sadness and hurt of other girls. Doesn't matter whose child it is, I don't like to see people get hurt. My comment had nothing to do with stress. It had to do with human kindness which so many seem to lack these days.

you only go to one school so it really doesn't matter what the sorority is like nationally. My mom was a chio and I am in a different top sorority at the same school (not at ole miss) that isn't as good nationally.They are both top tier at my school though and the national rankings didn't influence my decision. WHO CARES? I only go to one school anyway. Tri Delt Kappa Dg are all not to hot at my school but they are good nationally. does that mean I want to be in them? nope.. it doesn't

is brutal at Ole Miss! There has got to be a better system. So many sad girls!

most competitive like always was tri delt, kd, kappa, chi o this year. but aopi, pi phi, & phi mu had awesome pledge classes. ole miss rush is intense but all the houses got amazing girls!

to the ole miss greek community! you all got amazing and wonderful girls this year :)

1)FRESHMAN-We all know you love you new home, and we are THRILLED that you do! however, ranking your new house all 5's and commenting about your awesomeness is not really necessary. It is obvious and makes you look egotistical. However, EVERY SINGLE HOUSE has comments like these, so it is impossible to point fingers.
2)PEOPLE WHO RANK ALL 1'S-There is not a house here that EVER deserves that rank. And it is dumb to go back when over-excited freshman rank themselves high to give all 1's, its just rude. I would much rather see everyone loving on themselves and others with 5's than 1's every time someone gets a good rank and comment. If you are happy where you are, that is WONDERFUL! So lets not bring every sorority down just because you are insecure about them moving up ON A WEBSITE.
