Any ranking is just an opinion.. it may be an HONEST opinion but an opinion none the less!! Every girl on campus will have her own based on her experiences with the different sororities! Every sorority will have a variety of girls, they all are awesome and I for one am tired of the ancient stereotypes that try to drag some down and falsely inflate others. My honest opinion is they are all great sororities but the only three I would pledge based on my personal preference and exper. at Ole Miss are DDD,KKG,DG. THe others are great but not for me. The only sorority I have had neg. experiences and am unimpressed with is KD but others seem to love them so see everyone is different!!!

You are so right!!!! I also agree DG,KKG and DDD are definitely the best but all of them are great!

I agree with your rankings but I would probably switch Chi-O to number 1 and KD BELOW Dg

Rankings are absolutely in the eye of the ranker. I will give it to you straight- THERE ARE NO BAD SORORITIES AT OLE MISS! You can't go wrong with any house here. Each is great in their own way. If you keep an open mind during rush, don't focus on 1 house as your only choice, and present youself well you should have a good experience! Good luck to all PNM's!!!

There is just no way Kappa is above houses like Phi Mu and DG. Kappa is not southern at all, and not a traditionally southern house other places either. Phi Mu and DG both are much more traditional and classy at Ole Miss, and class still out weighs party girls at a school as built on tradition as we are. They are lots of fun and chill girls, but a wild reputation will hold them back here.

As stated below that is your OPINION. You are one of those people that keeps those out of date stereotypes perpetuated to somehow make yourself feel secure. Just take a look at facebook and you will see as many "party" girls in every sorority. And you have misstated Kappa is absolutely "Southern" just not all Mississippi. You should not be speaking of class while talking bad about your fellow greeks. Go ahead and talk bad about another sorority that makes you envious when someone likes them and I will defend them too. I will probably defend yours too I am just tired of all this ranking and tiers. EVERY HOUSE at OLE MISS IS GREAT and PNM should be excited to get any bid it is sooooo competitive.

with around 1200 girls going out each house should get a great pledge class- I don't see how being the largest or oldest chapter makes one the best. The tier ranking may have once been in place but now they simply don't exist! Girls- please be open to every house here, each one is great. If you give them all an equal chance you may find some of the ones you felt you did not like are now favorites!!!

Yes what a good statement! You are correct ! The earlier statement saying DG and Phi-Mu strong in the south is NOT ACCURATE !Both middle tier at best at Alabama, LSU , lower at SMU.
