sorority comments

I have watched and waited for some time,and tried to ignore this site, but it is like a trainwreck, I just can't not look. It is in fact a shame that the word "classy" is used so often and by so many without class, that "hot" is used by those who thing they are and others aren't, etc. For what it is worth, here is my opinion (which will smart and confuse if anyone pays attention.) To all you PNMs: I believe that the two sororities with the overall best membership are neighbors at the foot of Rebel Drive, namely Chi Omega and Pi Beta Phi. Togehter, they best represent the past, present and future of Ole Miss.

are rec letters really mandatory or can I rush without them?

You ABSOLUTELY must have them!!!!!!!!

AND at Ole Miss, whoever tells you "only one (1)" for each sorority, is NOT telling you that the girls to left and right of you have likely submitted three or more. Dig in. Sorority rush at Ole Miss is (to say the LEAST) highly, highly competitive, down to the last drop. Don't give them a reason to cut you, they'll find plenty without your help.

Those two houses are the only sororities at Ole Miss to ever produce a Miss America (all back when it really stood for something.)

And you know that is why I would pick a sorority....hahahah!!!

Seriously? "Produce" a Miss America? So where is their laboratory - in the basemen? Exactly where are you claiming that these sororities "produced" these members? I'd love to know...because if they weren't conceived the normal way, I'd love to know.

stupid factor among the bleached ones at OleMiss. Really drunk and stupid are no way to go through college.

Pi Beta Phi is a great house with girls from out of state and Mississippi. There are all types of girls that are involved in all types of positive activities on and off campus. Have a great year!

pi phi self ranks a LOT. i have never once heard anyone call them the best. always one of the last in rankings
