In reading all the individual pages- just want to know how many sororities fine for things like not donating blood, do they tell you about this during rush - I just heard that some do fine, but want to know if it was all of them. I'm going thru rush it's someting I'd like to know.

take everything you read on here with a grain of salt... and also KNOW that the groups people make claims like this about (getting fined, etc.) are usually the groups that do VERY well during rush and so that's why other sororities try to hate on them. fyi - DG at Ole Miss is top tier - along with Chi O, KD, and Tri Delt.

The last statement was also someones opinion on who is top tier...Each sorority has a mixed group of girls and each has been given a stereotype that does not always fit all the girls. I assure you every TriDelt is not a snob and every Kappa is not a party girl!! The ones people rail on are the ones they are jealous of! You need to go thru rush and form your own opinions of where youwouldfit in and forget anyone elses tier ratings. Sisterhood is what matters not tiers! But yes some chapters do fine their members for not partcipating, especially in sororities that are all consumed with "winning" competitions. Beware the ones that dirty rush cause that is usually a clue that they are over the top if they are willing to break rules to win! Go where you feel comfortable!

Thanks for all your advice. I just want to make sure that I make the right decision and I really don't like the idea of being forced to do something I am not comfortable with or being fined for not doing it. I mean givng blood is great but I am terrified of needles!!
