Actual Sisters in Different Houses

How common/uncommon is it for real-life sisters to end up in different houses? I’ve always assumed that sisters would generally gravitate towards the same house but I’ve actually met several girls who are sisters but ran home to different houses.

It more common than people think. Sisters often have different personalities and are better fits in different houses. It’s not that big of a deal.

It's kind of rewarding for a sorority to steal someone from her sitting sister's house.

I am one of 3 sisters at Ole Miss and we are all in different sororities. It is fun because we have made friends with our bio sisters friends in different chapters. All different personalities and all found our perfect homes.
