COB is hard to get

The real deal about COBs:
XO DDD DG KD KKG PM PBP you are an athlete that did not go through recruitment or a sophomore that never went through recruitment with over 20 friends (maybe a sister) and someone on exec in your corner. If you transfer from a MS CC as a legacy or with several friends here you are most likely still going to be told to go through fall recruitment.
AXO ADPI AOPI APHI if you just went through recruitment and had one of these houses at pref and didn’t sign a card they aren’t going to give you a COB in spring. If you didn’t have them at sisterhood or pref and just dropped from recruitment you have a good chance at a spring COB IF they choose to give them.

Pi Phi only took 3 COB, the others are just late initiates that missed the original initiation

If they have open bids after today and I reach out do you think it’s possible to have a “coffee date” or whatever sit down they chose to do to COB within the next week. I went through recruitment and dropped for personal reasons, but 2 of those houses I really liked. I’ve heard mixed things about if they strictly wait to do COB in the spring or will try to fill the open bids in the fall.

chapters will focus on a house of new pledges. they will not worry about girls the dropped for whatever reason as most all houses meet their numbers at ole miss. 1-you need to get involved in activities at ole miss and or work with sisters in houses that usually offer cob 2- go by next week the ole miss greek office let them know your interested in cob or snap-if eligible. 3- it is much harder to get in cob as you have less opportunities from fall recruitment so you must network with girls already in houses and get to know them. very unlikely you will get a top house this way unless again you are an athlete or family member is already in the house. always maximize your options in the fall recruitment. even if you get in by cob the work is on you to get to know your house as others will have bonded with their pledge class.

Yall pressed about pi phi 😂 early grads and alums bc girls are going back closer to home for employment or grad school is a flex actually.

Among the most established groups, KD, DG, and DDD have taken a very limited number of CC transfers in the past (not every year). I’ve never known XO to pledge a CC transfer but they have pledged sophomores (friends of actives).

PIPHI took 3 last year. AXO and AOPi each had about 15. Phi mu had about 10 posted on their insta page. Go look.
