Advice to PNMs going to pref

1. Concentrate on the houses you have not the ones in the rear view mirror.

2. Pay attention to the pnms in your pref group and the ones walking in after you and the ones walking out before you. They make up your would be member class.

3. If you single rank and you have two houses you might not get a bid. If you get your second house and it really isn’t a good fit for you then you don’t have to initiate but you should give them a chance.

4. Don’t cry on bid day unless it’s happy tears. It’s a bad look for you not the chapter that has happily welcomed you.

5. The houses that you don’t have didn’t want you as a member. The house you rank first and don’t get ranked you low on their list. The process has worked-you are not a good fit for those houses.
