Do not pay attention to this site

by: TOXIC

This site is toxic. It promotes only a few sororities based on "popularity." You will date guys from all greek houses. There are gorgeous girls in all soroities. The "top" soroities do NOT have all the pretty girls. This site is filled with Miss mamas with nothing to do. Of course if you go to college in your state you will know people in greek life and have a better chance in certain sororities.
There are 2500 PNMs that will fill all houses.

That being said, I’ve heard from friends both at UGA and Auburn that cuts have been brutal. With 2500 girls going through at Ole Miss and fewer sororities, what can we expect? This is a serious question. Many want to know, especially from out of state what we can expect.

Every year pnm's say the cuts were brutal. Cuts are never not going to be felt as brutal. But they are based on percentages, not finite numbers. The percentages stay the same from year to year, so the more girls going through recruitment means that you are going to hear about a lot of cuts from the sheer number of pnm's. But what no one talks about is that more girls also get carried back to each round. It's not any more competitive than it used to be because it's percentage based.

Now please hear this: an increase in pnm's does not decrease your chances, they will be the same. More pnm's means more will be carried from round to round and more will get bids. The process is designed to accomodate as many pnm's as are going through the process, not to purposely eliminate them from recruitment. It's all the same as it has been, just on a larger scale.

The real problem is overly large chapter sizes. The only cure for that is more chapters. Eliminating pnm's from the process is not on the table.
