She is pretty correct. Personally I think DG should be last, but this is not my post. Generally this is how the houses are perceived. (With the exception of the top tier order which is debatable).

They may be perceived that way by some but it is really more like:

You may switch the houses around based on personal preferences within the groups:

XO, DDD, KD

DG, Phi Mu

Kappa, Theta, Pi Phi,

AOP,ADP

It's been this way for years and probably won't change much. Yes, it's all simply perception but reality is every single house on campus is strong and has something meaningful to offer very single girl that is seriously looking for lifelong sisterhood. It's not hard to be nice and positive.

Thank you for being nice!

It appears to me that you also put the houses together a bit more according to "style" rather than rank.

The top 3 are top compete with each other to be the most exclusive. DG and Phi Mu where put together because they're both trying to be girly southern belles and at least aim to be called classy ladies. Kappa, Theta, and Pi Phi are all girls that like to go out and are hot but not in a Mississippi southern belle type of way. AOPi and ADPi are places where girls from the north feel more comfortable. They're great sororities but still a little different from everyone else, they're personality is less "sororityty" and more relaxed.

Top tier get there by hard work and determination!

It just seems that the top girls are just put together a little bit better.

I can't agree that top tier are anymore put together. If you aren't put together you don't come to Ole Miss. Top tier gets there by no work of their own it is all where they are from and who they or their parents know.

If I was to group by personality I would group:
XO,DG,AOPi = lots of odd birds, very self entitled
DDD,KKG,Pi Phi,Theta = All about the good time, in general don't give a flip about much but the party.
KD, Phi Mu = Don't fit in the other too just KD is way Bi#$hier\n\n\n\n\n

You're actually kind of right. The groupings are right. But to have a proper tier or status, you need to rank within the groupings.

Top>mid>bottom
XO>DG>AOPi
DDD>Kappa>PiPhi>Theta
KD>PhiMu>ADPi

i personally don't think ddd is like kappa or pi phi at all.... they are more like phi mu.

I would put it as:
XO>DG>AOPI =grade/chill girls
DDD>PhiMu>Theta>ADPi =pageanty girls who aren't as big of partiers
KD>Kappa<PiPhi =party girls

I'm all for the traditional tiers. It's always been this way and top houses always get top girls. Not because they are pretty or smart, or like able, but because these girls have been sought out and rushed. They didn't just happen to show up.
