Do you mean waiting to sign up closer to the deadline? If that's your question then the answer is that the sooner you register the sooner the houses can get your information and start getting you on their radar. The sororities work all summer trying to become as familiar as possible with the pnm's coming through. If you wait until the last minute you can fall through the cracks, so sign up as soon as you can reasonably do so.
