by: longhornso at UT we have PKT (top 3 sororities), the Big 6 (sororities), and the Big 4 (fraternities). what would that be like at ole miss? top three-six sororities and top four fraternities?

This post is irrelevant to oleMiss Greek life. At OleMiss we don't have anything as close to the amount of houses Texas has so we can't really have a top seven because that's basically more than half of the houses here OleMiss so this is so irrelevant and the stupidest post Getting inti any house at ole miss is a huge honor and our lowest house is most likely better than any Texas house that is top-tier.

That's not entirely true. We have a top three and a middle three. Together these sororities make up the most desirable top six. Pi phi, aopi, theta, and ADPi are bottom four. Sorry but not every sorority is considered top.

It is a stupid post, but I seriously doubt the lowest houses here beat the top houses at UT. It's freaking UT for God's sake. The smartest, richest, prettiest girls in Texas, A HARD university to get into. I attend Ole Miss, but have tons of friends at UT. Their top 9 houses are all amazing.

Smartest? not entirely. Texas has a lot of Podunk towns that have a top 8% that are no where as smart as even the bottom 50% of private schools in Dallas and Houston. Prettiest and richest? naw, those girls go to ole miss! The majority of UT is made up of top 8 %. Many from the smaller towns drop out after the first year. And most are not the prettiest or the richest.
Let's call a spade a spade and get real here.

Maybe because I have friends who will be attending ole miss next year and I want to help them get into the right sororities and fraternities for them. I met a pi phi over the weekend from ole miss and she was no where the quality of girl we associate with pi phi in Texas.
