I know you shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket and you should keep an open mind about which sorority you choose, but what exactly does it take to get a bid from a top sorority? I just want to know what to expect so I can be prepared!!

It takes connections. Of course you have to have looks, grades, personality, leadership, volunteer hours, etc, but without having any connections you will be just another face in a very crowded room.

If you don't know how to meet people without coming on this site and asking, rush is going to be really hard for you. Most girls who do well during recruitment wouldn't have to ask the question: "how do you meet new people."

It was a legitimate answer. Not even ADPi wants girls who don't know how to make friends! Nobody can legitimately tell a pnm where to find connections! It's not like she can stand around in the grove asking girls to be here friend! Let's use some common sense people!

You can meet actives once classes start. They are in young life, campus crusades, they work out at the gym, go to church, join clubs like yearbook and marketing, etc. once you get on campus don't just hang out with the same freshmen on your floor. Really get out there and join activities where older girls may be
