So I have a 2.5 gpa but I wanna rush this year. I meet all the other credentials ( pretty, social ect) and I know some girls in houses and I'm a legacy from my mom who went to ole miss and was in phi mu. Can I still get a house with this gpa ?

Your only hope may be the fact that your mom attended ole miss and phi mu may feel complelled to take you. Other than that, maybe ADPi, and that's a pretty big maybe.

No, but there are always opportunities for ADPi or Alpha Phi when it gets on campus! If you really want to, get your grades up in college and then find out who is doing spring rush!

You have a lot to learn about sororities at ole miss if you think that pretty and social qualifies you! 1300 girls will be going through rush. 1200 of those girls will have gpa's above a 3.0. Most will have hours and hours and years and years of volunteer service. Most will have participated in a varsity sport or an academic club. The majority of your fellow pnm's will have held at least one leadership position and most will have been honored with several awards. The women of ole miss are amazing! Pretty and social will get you invited to frat parties, but it won't get you invited to second round rush parties.

I know for a fact that according to my sororities bylaws we absolutely cannot accept anyone with below a 2.7. I'm sure other sororities have similar rules in place. Even if we didn't have that rule, compared to all the 3's and above, you wouldn't make it

2.5 is low. I bet there weren't 5 girls with a 2.5 that got bids from the 9 established chapters last year. 2.7-2.8 maybe, but even then you need a story as to why it wasn't higher.
