Why is it so hard to get in a sorority at Ole Miss?

It’s a numbers thing.

Too many girls, too few sororities.

It is not hard to get into a sorority at Ole Miss unless your grades are really bad. The bid rate is very high for the pnm's that stay in the process and don't drop out of their own decision. You will get cut during rush by some houses but the ones that want you back are what you need to focus on. Great 'top' girls always get cut by some houses during every round because it's a numbers game and there is nothing wrong with you for getting cut. Stay in the process and find your home. There is a great sorority experience at every house and the girls coming through rush each year are understanding more and more how you don't need a certain set of letters to have that.
