I don't think 80 sig eps are going phi tau, maybe more like 40-50

Eighty is the better number. It depends on whether you count the oldest Sig Eps who may or may not get released by Sig Ep national but will be allowed to be Friends of Phi Tau.

Phi Tau still won't have a good rush. Yes, the new members will help, but many kids are not going to want to be associated with the house that's been the worst here for years. Also, kids will know about the hazing sig ep was kicked off for in the first place and will not want to pick phi tau. They will be competing with sigma pi and beta for their kids. Not Pike Phi Psi and SAE.

Sig Ep wasn't kicked off for hazing. They lost their charter because three of their members did something really stupid and their national came down and made up a reason to pull their charter.

The former Sig Eps will make up well over half of the chapter. They will decide how well Phi Tau does in rush. I think the chapter will do fine.

kicked off for hazing. The james meredith incident caused nationals to come dow and investigate the chapter. There were members who cracked and talked about hazing.

Initiated members of one fraternity can't just join another fraternity. It doesn't work like that. No initiated members of Sig Ep are joining Phi Tau. It simply won't happen.

I am not absolutely sure about this, but...

On a national level Sig Ep did away with pledging and initiation and accepts members in three phases as part of its "Balanced Man" program. After completion of the first phase one becomes a conditional member. But true membership is not achieved until after completing the third-year phase.

Essentially what Sig Ep has done is to treat pledges like actives but in reality most active members are really pledges for most of the time they are in college.

Balanced Man is different than the traditional chapter that was here. They are all initiated members. However, Sig Ep nationals allowed the most recent pledge class to resign their membership and choose a different fraternity. The older members won't be Phi Taus but they will be "social members", just going to parties and whatnot.

Don't know why ranks matter, but this one looks about right.

Move DG down and xo below KD.

Both need to quit self ranking!

Self ranking is not working. Your house is still not top

Some of the freshman will go phi tau, not the older members. In other words they will still suck
