rush help!!
by: FreshmanWhat is rush like at ole miss? What are the different days and what are "water games"?. Also what do girls typically wear on each day? What day would a Lilly Pulitzer sun dress be apporiate? Is wearing cow girl boots ever apporiate? And would it be over the top to get makeup done and hair done before preofessionally? Not like a prom up do but just to make sure I look absolutely perfect. Have any girls done this before??

Rush at ole miss is crazy, over the top! There is no such thing as water games. It's water parties, and that is where they serve water to drink. Lol. Rush starts out casual with shorts and tshirts that are given to you from Panhellenic. Not sure how they are handling water parties this year. Last year we wore nike shorts and tshirts/tank tops. Lilly dresses will be very appropriate for skit parties and something slightly dressier will be needed for pref. No cowboy boots! It will still be way too hot in Oxford for boots during rush! Think sandals! Not sure about hiring a pro to do your hair and makeup. Seems over the top. You might not have time to get it done for you! Don't forget you have to attend all your classes during the day.
