by: Just wonderingIm a kid from California who has never been to Mississippi. I would say im a pretty chill kid and im a conservative. Ive never been to Mississippi before but plan on fitting in. I have a letter of rec from a former KA at Ole Miss who was on the board during his times. Even though im not from the south would I have a pretty decent chance at getting into a top house like KA?

Although it's not entirely impossible, KA is almost entirely Mississippi kids, and the kids who aren't from Mississippi are from neighboring states and know a lot of the actives. Same goes for a lot of the "top houses". Your best best is the middle tier, which is still comprised of awesome guys, such as ATO, Kappa Sig, Pike, Phi Psi, and SAE.

dont know any Cali kids in KS or pike or SAE. but I know of one or two in phi psi and all the rest go Beta
