new rush ranks??
by: new rushbecause of adpi coming on there are new rush rules. how do you think that will effect the tiers? Girls go to all 10, philanthropy 8, skit 5, and pref 2? what would you describe as the perfect rush?

pretty easy for this one except for pref.
for philanthropy girls will want: DDD/KD/XO/DG/KKG/PHIMU/PIPHI/AOPI
Skit: DDD/KD/XO/DG/KKG (sorry phi mu)
and pref really depends because there are a strong top 3 houses so it will probably be a combination of: DDD/KD KD/XO DDD/XO?

I agree with this. Even though it's just a top 5, you can either look at it as a positive that DG, Kappa, and Phi Mu will still have the same amount of success or a negative that they all may suffer a little with getting less numbers back BUT they will be pre-narrowed down for pref already so maybe that's positive? I don't know but I don't see it as a bad thing.

MANY pnms have decided that one of the top 3 isn't for them, if they even have them left. I think plenty of pnms would still want a combo including DG, KKG, and Phi Mu by then.

Phi mu and kappa shouldn't be on your list. They will still have plenty pnm hoping for bids to them.
Girls are ecstatic to get bids to top houses, happy to get bids to mid tier houses, and disappointed to get bids to bottom tier houses.
Deny this all you want, but it usually takes about a month to get over the disappointments and feel happy where they landed.

making yourself feel better. Many girls choose a house because they feel comfortable and want friends not frenemies. NEWSFLASH there are girls who don't want to keep vying for position in the "so called" popular group. EVERY sorority at Ole MIss is great. The numbers speak for themselves.
You don't have to keep trying to bash every other sorority to make yourself feel "special" Grow up and move on.

Keep telling yourself that! Every ole miss girl I know desperately wants at least one of the top three houses and can totally see herself there. All three houses have perfected rush and girls who leave their houses after rush parties can't wait to return.

Actually, I haven't talked to a single person who liked Tri Delt after Philanthropy round and I absolutely hated KD that round too but got asked back continuously even after I tried to cut them just with how the numbers worked out. Chi O honestly didn't make and impression on anyone that I talked to either, even the girls who went all the way to pref. It's honestly basically just all talk I feel like that gets girls hyped to go to those houses during rush but they were generally less liked then the others.

Now see, I think you are both bitter and I'm guessing that you didn't really try to "cut" all three top houses. Something tells me that they cut you! I can completely understand you not grooving with all three, but generally, there is at least one favorite of everyone among the top three. For me Tri Delt and KD were my absolute favorites and I didn't much care for xo. But my roommate loved xo but hated KD. ONE of the top three ends up being most girls favorites.
Not putting down middle houses either! Phi mu and kappa were also favorites of mine. DG not so much, but again, it's personal preference. \n\n\n\n\n

I agree, except for phi mu.
Of the three mid tier houses, DG will get the smart, religious girls, kappa will get the party girls, and phi mu will get the pageant girls. It's wrong to assume phi mu will be hurt by the new rush policies.
