Im gonna be a freshman in the fall at Ole Miss. I'm from California but looking to adapt to the southern life. Which fraternities are welcoming to California kids who are just looking to chill and be in a midtier to top tier house

You really should be 100% sure you want to come here before you do. People won't accept you at first, its just the way it is. If you're a great guy possibly ATO, Pike, SAE, and the lower fraternities, some of which are still good, will take you. But most people like you end up transferring after a year. You have to be completely sure.

People won't "not accept you." There's tons of people here from California so don't worry about where you're from. You honestly just have to be yourself no matter what. Whoever said that was probably a backwards redneck.

Pike, Phi Psi, SIgma Pi, and possibly sae or ato are your best bets.
