I've loved living in Martin but I have friends who live in Stewart and don't hate it (most of the time). I'm not sure what is going to happen next year with Crosby now that the sophomores will no longer be living there, Crosby may be the new Martin. Last year, Martin filled up fast. Unless you got early acceptance and registered for housing on like the first or second day, you probably won't get in anyway. Martin is crazy with all 10 sororities living together. Every night there are different swaps and parties going on and there are tons of distractions, but Stewart has their own set of distractions. Girls who live in Martin and don't go Greek often feel left out. Especially rush week when everything gets turned upside down in a crazy way. I wouldn't chose Stewart because of the kitchenettes. Girls usually chose Stewart because Martin was already filled.

I live in stew now and I'm so gald I picked Stewart over Martin! First, you don't have the huge hill or as long of a walk, and second, there's only 7 floors. Plus it's not awkward pulling your underwear out of the laundry room with 10 guys hanging out in there. Almost everyone on my floor of Stewart is in a sorority and I have absolutely loved living here!
