out of state rushing

I'm going to be a freshman next year and I'll definitely be rushing. But, I'm a northerner, so I was wondering if it's true that most sororities don't like girls from the north? Or which sororities are hardest to get bids from if you're from the north?

Amazing girls from the north with looks, grades, personality, talent, AND network will do fine in ADPi, theta, aopi, pi phi, and maybe phi mu. And kappa.

Tri Delt and Chi O don't take girls from the north, period. Rarely take girls that aren't from the south at all. KD is up there too, but they do have a few girls from outside the south

Your chances will be hurt rushing from out of state. The honest to god best advice I can give you is to try and contact a girl in a sorority you want, and get to know her. The best way to get your foot in the door somewhere happens way before formal rush.
