The truth about consistent ranks
by: Truth
A post called “Consistent Ranks” has been pushed up for over two years now. It claims that Ole Miss sorority rankings are fixed and cannot be affected by one rush. There have been two more rushes since the one that this post claims didn’t change the ranks. Even if it were true that one rush can’t change anything, three certainly can.
The sororities compete very tightly, so a bad, or even average, rush could knock a chapter down a whole tier. This is especially true since the growing pledge classes make up bigger and bigger parts of the chapter. There is a big difference between the top and bottom houses, so one rush will probably not bring a house up or down more than a tier or a few spots. Tradition does support where a lot of houses sit. KD, Chi O, and even Tri Delt will not end up in the bottom anytime soon since they have a long history of being top houses on campus. This being said, middle and bottom houses have a lot more room for movement and have to compete to keep their spot.
Here are the rankings for this after this rush (debatable within tiers depending on personal opinion):
XO, DDD, KD
DG, KKG, PBP, PM
AP, ADP, AOP
